Terms and Conditions of Service for Our Existing Clients:

  1. We will respond to our existing client contacts within 3 working days - however, we are not taking on any new clients for web design, hosting or domain name registration.

  3. If you have a complaint regarding an existing domain previously purchased via our company please contact us: info@intechdes.co.uk
  4. We will notify our existing clients 1 month prior to their domain name expiry date.
  5. If you wish to renew your existing domain name, please notify us at least 5 working days prior to the expiry date using the following email address: info@intechdes.co.uk at which point we will renew your domain name for a further year subject to the charges below.
  6. Domain name renewal charges will be communicated to our existing clients 1 month prior to their domain name expiry date - current charges are £15 per year for .co.uk and .org.uk and £30 per year for .com.
  7. If you wish to cancel your domain name registration or move to another provider please notify us using the following email address: info@intechdes.co.uk at which point we will either cancel your domain name registration at Nominet (or eNom) and mark it 'No longer required' or we will release your domain to your new provider, free of charge.
  8. Copyright - It is your responsibility to make sure you have the right to reproduce the text and pictures supplied by you. You indemnify us against any liabilities due to breach of copyright caused by any material supplied by you.
  9. Website Ownership - Your site's specific arrangement and assembly of HTML and CSS markup belongs to you once you have paid all our design fees and you may move it to another server if you wish. However you do not own the copyright on our design, or on any pictures or photos supplied by us or on any software used to run your site. We also cannot guarantee that any scripting and other software we use will run on your new server.
  10. Domain Name Registration - Any domain names that we previously registered for you, were registered in your name (not ours). In doing this, we were acting as your agent with the appropriate Naming Authority. The contract of registration was between you and them and was subject to their terms and conditions. It is your responsibility to ensure you had the right to use the name you registered.
  11. Important! - When you registered a .uk domain name you were also entering into a contract with Nominet and you agreed to their terms and conditions Nominet - Terms and Conditions This is a separate contract to any you may have with us or a third party for the provision of internet services.
  12. Indemnification - You agree that you will defend, indemnify, save and hold ourselves harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable solicitor's fees asserted against ourselves that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by you, your agents, employees or assigns. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless against liabilities arising out of;
    1. any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with our hosting service;
    2. any material supplied by you infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party;
    3. copyright infringement and
    4. any defective products sold to customers via our hosting service.
  13. Limitation of Liability - The limit of our liability to you will be the greater of £100 or the cost of our hosting services charged to you for the current year.
  14. Legal Area - In the event of a dispute, this agreement is subject to English law.
  15. Changes to terms and conditions - Unless restricted by prior agreement with you, we reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time. No changes will apply to you unless we have notified you of them in advance, at which point you have the right to cancel if you are not in agreement with them.

  17. All orders must be completed within 6 weeks of being scheduled. Clients must provide all necessary text content and images within this timescale along with any instructions as to the layout of said text and images. After this 6 week period, no further changes will be made under the initial order and all further changes will be subject to our normal charges.
  18. Important! - If at any time during the design process, a client becomes abusive, uncooperative or unresponsive, we reserve the right to terminate all ties with said client. The client will receive a CD with the graphic design, html code and css representing a static version of their website, which will represent the full value of any fees paid. Our initial hosting and domain registration is included free for the first year and we therefore reserve the right to withdraw these services and provide only the visual design elements of the client's website which directly relate to the fee charged.
  19. We made no charges for the use of our own server side software, programs and server configuration or those of any open source third parties, all charges were related purely to the graphic and visual design elements of a client's website and to the time spent in formatting and arranging content and providing initial support during the design process.
  20. Because we made no charges for the use of our own server side software, programs and server configuration whilst a client is hosted with us, if a client moves their website away from us to another provider, they will no longer be able to benefit from or use said server side software, programs and server configuration, and will only be provided with the website elements that they have paid for; visual elements and html/css.
